DISCOUNT MAILBOX USA is a division of ARTISAN/STEEL MAILBOX COMPANY, one of the first premium mailbox dealers on the Internet. We were the first online dealer for the original heavy duty “vandal-buster” mailbox, the Veeders Mailbox. We are and have been the largest online dealer for the Heavybilt line of mailboxes and posts. Currently we carry a large variety of many different kinds of vandal-resistant, locking, security, and premium mailboxes, drop boxes and posts.
Since the beginning of our business offering these products for sale, inevitably there were returned mailboxes which could not be re-sold as new, for a variety of reasons. We have offered such mailboxes at discounted prices even though these were in new condition. Also some new mailboxes had minor blemish imperfections, such as uneven paint finish, small dings or dents, which the manufacturers discounted to us as a dealer. Throughout the past decade we have carried such “Get A Deal” items on a special page at www.SteelMailbox.com. After a while it made more sense to set up a website dedicated to discounted mailboxes. This is the best place to acquire a high end locking, premium, specialty, and vandal-resistant mailbox which normally sell for premium prices... at a discounted price.
